Activities
Here is where we try to do posts and things that are involved with site guests! There’s not much to begin with, but we’re working on adding more things later! Activities are all housed on this page with their corresponding posts that we do! You can participate in the activities through our social media pages!
Some activities may require site guests without accounts to participate through one of our social media platforms, where we will then use those correspondences in posts here on those activities! When our platform for community members launches, they will be able to directly submit their activities on the activity pages we make!
These activities may be for the purpose of sharing information, stories, and experiences; to connect or relate with others; to bring attention to good things; and maybe even inspire people to take action somewhere!
This activity is for the purpose of sharing different groups, pages, website, people, and organizations that work to promote some kind of action somewhere in the world or for some specific cause!
They can be Facebook pages/groups, specific people who focus on sharing action-type posts, organizations that focus on encouraging action, websites that do this, and anything else that fits within this category!
As we come across and learn about new entities that promote action, we will post about them under this section, providing their links and describing who they are and what they do!
Have a group/person you wish to nominate for this activity? Share it with us on our social media pages with the hashtag #ActionGroups so we know what activity you’re referencing!

Want to take action against the plastic crisis?? Check out this Facebook group and start getting involved today!
Do you know someone who has done something AWESOME and deserves a little recognition? Have you seen someone out in the world that you saw do something that surprised you and deserves a shout out? Heard about someone/some business in your local community that did/is doing something AMAZING?
Give them a shout out and share their story on any of our social media pages with the hashtag #ActsOfAwesomenesss and we’ll share it here for others to see and maybe inspire awesomeness elsewhere!

Our team will discuss the best way to try and approach your question/issue to offer help and ideas, and come up with a suggestion!

Canvasing for the First Time
I recently went to a community barnstorming session for the Bernie Sanders campaign and signed up to do canvassing and phone banking, something I’ve never done before.
In an attempt to create a type of mutual-aid network, this activity deals with how we can help each other!
If you’re in need of something, broad or specific, you can send us a message or mention on any of our social media platforms with your request.
If you are someone who has a skill or service to offer, you can also contact us to let us know that you want to be listed as a contact for that type of aid.
Otherwise, you can see who needs help, and then contact them directly with the information provided in the respective post, and offer them your assistance. You can also request to join our FaceBook group for this to stay more up to date on who needs what or is offering what service.
This activity will evolve as needed depending on it’s effectiveness and growth!
