“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.”
– Yehuda Berg

Content Goals
Through various forms of content with a diverse array of topics, we hope to help foster the following action:
Perspective & Education
We hope to have content share new perspectives by bringing together multiple view points on issues and providing a basis for conversation.
Ignorance is not bliss and we shouldn’t encourage it for the sake of simplicity.
Open mindedness & Understanding
Whether you agree with an author’s opinion and views or not, we hope to still foster a level of respect and fairness of interpretation.
You can see other points of view without conflicting your own beliefs.
Debate & Discussion
Tying into the next aspect of our mission we promote objective and proactive conversation around issues.
Finding common ground and seeing all sides, helps us find solutions to the problems we face.
Whether you agree or disagree with the topics and issues presented in the content we and our community members produce, we hope that you can still find something to take away from it; find something to have a discussion about; or discover a new perspective about something. We hope you are inspired to share your ideas and opinions about the things you read and absorb; inspired to take action on something you’re passionate about.
We at M.i.M. want our audience to take away something positive from our content; and we aim for that to be information, motivation, inspiration, emotion, energy, or action.
We do not wish the bubble-wrap the world, nor do we wish to tell people what is wrong or right.
We want people of opposing sides to come together and have better communication about the issues they disagree on; to find and focus on the things that they share rather than the things that divide; and to develop compromises and solutions rather than division.
Through collaboration of ideas and content from a diverse group of people, we hope to foster kindness and understanding of others, and help people understand where others come from and why they think the way they do. And, we hope to foster solidarity with our fellow human beings.
