The Discovery Children’s Museum provides Las Vegas families with exciting playful experiences by mixing learning and fun. The museum’s mission focuses on “ensuring everyone’s visit is both comfortable and convenient, in addition to being educational and fun.”

Get in and Start Learning

Located at 360 Promenade Place near downtown, the museum has an impressive three floors of activities for family members of all ages, focusing on “brain boosting, adventure, and discovery.” With activities like the Discovery Lab, The Summit, Fantasy Festival, and Eco City, there’s something for family members of all ages that want to explore.

The museum offers a yearly membership program starting at $85, which includes a year of free museum admission for two cardholders and additional discounts. A gift membership can even be given to someone to make a great gift for a birthday or holiday gift. In addition, a Discovery Children’s Museum membership also offers a 50% general admission discount at more than 200 museums across the country participating within the network.

An Emphasis On Early Childhood Development

Jodi Gutstein, an employee of the museum, celebrates and supports the 32-year-old non-profit organization and believes it’s “the top interactive museum in Southern Nevada.”

Moreover, Gutstein shared that the “educational institution relocated to Symphony Park in March 2013 and serves as Las Vegas’ only children’s museum.” The museum experience offers children an opportunity to develop their curiosity while contributing to their learning.

More specifically, the museum also “offers the children the opportunity to explore their curiosities while addressing the core educational areas of science and nature, art and culture, and early childhood development.”
