Community Challenges
#GetinMotion by taking part in challenges that work to make some kind of positive change, get people to collaborate together, and build on your personal growth!
Current Challenges
There are currently 20 things we’re challenging people to do!
These challenges range from a variety of things, like helping the environment, animals, people, or even doing something for yourself! These challenges are designed to help people #GetinMOTION! in their own communities or get out of their comfort zones!
Right now these are just for fun for our site guests! Later when we launch our community platform, community members will be able to do more with the challenges. They will get to directly submit their challenge completions to us to be included in our challenges posts and get a special shout out for their efforts! To incentivize our future community members, they will receive points as a reward for completing challenges! These points will be redeemable for community actions that we do on their behalf! Site guests are not awarded these points!
We’d love to have you share your completion of challenges with us on any of our social media pages! Just @ mention us and add a hashtag for the corresponding challenge you completed. Don’t forget to share any related photos or screen shots! We’ll do cumulative posts where we compile everyone who’s completed the challenge and tagged us in their completion posts.
To make this more interesting for site guests, for every 10 challenge posts you tag us in we’ll plant one tree with our partner One Tree Planted!

Talk to Someone New!
Get out of your comfort zone and talk to someone new!
Too often we pass by other people while looking away, looking at our phones, or otherwise trying not to notice others or be noticed. We tend to shut ourselves off to the world around us while still craving interaction with other people. To make up for this we tend seek out communication online. And while this has its benefits, it is nothing compared to real face to face interactions.
So start up a conversation with someone in line at the store, or compliment something you see on someone and strike up a conversation about it there. Another way to do this is to seek out an acquaintance on an app like Next Door, where you can correspond with people in your neighborhood. Meet up at a library, coffee shop, park, or wherever and chat! You might even make a new friend!
The purpose of this challenge is to have meaningful interactions with others. That being said, it might take a couple of tries to really get the intended result of this challenge. Even if you have to compliment or be kind to 10 people or a 100 people before your comment actually leads to a real conversation, it still works to spread positivity in the world around you. But you’re likely to have made that many people smile and feel noticed! (Which is great!)
