The Seasons of Life
A Soliloquy by Callianna Sharrow
The older I get, the more I see,
life is full of seasons.
Within each season, a lesson is given
And it is up to me to learn from them.
There are seasons where my heart has hurt
And my brain became foggy – these were the times I had to push through the storm.
Then there were seasons where my smile reached from ear to ear
And no rainstorm could darken my light.
The seasons are what made me, me
and that, I would never change for the world.
Through the rain, the shine, and storms,
Each season has brought me perseverance.
