Join us as Cat sits down with Germaine, and special-education teach in Las Vegas, to discuss the topic of education as a whole, special education, and many different interrelated subjects, such as funding, student loans, the present generation, and more!

Education in all its facets is an important topic for us at M.i.M. Mag. That’s why we support our teachers out here in Las Vegas and across the country, as well as support paying teachers and support staff better, funding education as a whole more substantially, forgiving student loan debt, and making education available for all.

Thank you to Germaine for sitting down with us to talk about this subject, and give more insight into what it’s like working in the field of education, and all of the things that affect teachers, students, and the education system itself.

If you want to help out your teachers and schools locally, find out what ways they need help by asking the teachers what supplies they need, collecting Box Tops for schools that accept them, or paying off some of the school lunch debt funds.

If you want to take it a step further, be actively involved in the proceedings surrounding education in your area by attending meetings, voting for people who support your views on education that will represent you and your community, or even run for a local office yourself if it will allow you to be active in that area of your community!

And, support people and candidates who are fighting for our teachers, funding for education, and for our education systems as a whole.

Because teachers are fighting for our future by preparing our children for it. So it’s up to all of us to fight for them to ensure that the future is bright.
