Local Brewery Taps & Barrels Hosts Weekly Trivia Nights
Beer, wings, and trivia. What more could you want from a local brewery on a Tuesday night? With so many breweries in Vegas, it’s difficult to choose a favorite. But Las Vegas beerhouse Taps & Barrels brings something new to the table!
Not only does Taps & Barrels feature 36 rotating self-pour taps, delicious bites, and a lively space, but they also host weekly trivia nights!
My Experience at the Local Brewery
I decided to visit on one of their trivia nights last Tuesday, and it was such a fun experience! Granted, I am horrible at trivia, but I still had a great time and learned a lot of cool facts that I otherwise would’ve never known.
The place was packed when I first walked in, and many teams had already assembled by the time I got there. I recommend going with some friends for your first time or arriving 30 minutes earlier to meet new people and establish a team.
Next, grab a drink and a snack! If you’re grabbing food, I recommend ordering right away since receiving your food may take some time. Our order took 15-20 minutes to arrive, but I honestly didn’t mind since I was already having so much fun. I admittedly almost forgot I even ordered anything in the first place!
One of my favorite parts of the night was hearing all the crazy names people would come up with for their teams. There was “The Summerlin Moms,” “Undertrained and Overconfident,” “4 Dudes 1 Beer,” and many more. Throughout the night, it was hard not to have a great time! People were laughing, and the atmosphere was great!

Another Local’s Experience at Taps & Barrels
I got to speak to another trivia fan, Jennifer Lopez (No, not that Jennifer Lopez). During her first time at Trivia Night and at Taps & Barrels, she expressed how much fun she had and said she plans to return sometime soon.
“I would rate it a 9/10 experience for me. I really enjoyed being able to get up and pour my own drink, get how much I wanted per drink, see the options they had, and take the time to pick what I wanted. You also get to pick your own glass!” Lopez said, “Trivia night was fun playing with others and highly competitive. They also had some great prizes which made people compete even harder to win.”
