As you do things on the site, such as interacting with other community members in the forums or participating in activities and other community features, you will earn what we call ‘Seed Points’. 

These points will be for the purpose of redeeming for community action that our organization does on your behalf! 

For instance, you might redeem a certain number of points for us to do something like donate a bag of dog food to a shelter or plant a tree. There will be different point tiers set up with varying degrees of particular actions. 

We will also occasionally have community redemption events, where the community members can elect to pool some of their points together for a really major community action!  

At the moment, we are working out all the details and kinks of how to implement our redemption program and how to go about doing it the best way possible. We will keep you posted here and in other areas of the site! 

In the meantime, you can start collecting the points and saving them for the prospective actions we will do in exchange for them!

These points will not have any actual monetary value, and will not be able to be used as a form of currency to purchase tangible goods in the store. We may however offer the option later to exchange points for coupons that can be used in the store, if this is feasible for us to do.
